Violet Orlandi: The Brazilian Sabrina Carpenter

Violet Orlandi singing in the "Wicked Game" cover song

You MUST check out this music video by the incomparable Violet Orlandi, a cover of “Gloomy Sunday” by Billie Holliday. A cinematographic and musical genius, Vi is the Brazilian Sabrina Carpenter.

I discovered Violet through the “Bohemian Rhapsody” collab she did with First to Eleven, Halocene, and Lauren Babic. Epic stuff. She also has some INCREDIBLE original music, with an original record dropping soon as of this post. I’ll update this to link to where you can listen to it on streaming services and purchase the physical copies (CD and Vinyl) when they become available.

While we’re waiting, let’s enjoy an acoustic version of one of the songs from that original record, “Dead Men Walk Alone.”

Also, support V on Patreon! She deserves SO MUCH LOVE AND ADORATION FOR BEING SO ADORABLE AND GENEROUS!
