“The Muse Never Seen” (Poetry)

This stranger

She is beautiful

Though you don’t see

You’d recognize her

Walking down the street

You somehow can feel

Her presence, although

You may never meet

For real, in the flesh

She is there with you

Embracing the best

That’s inside of you

Bringing into light

The prettier things

Locked up in your mind

The muse never seen

Living without flesh

Mortal our bodies

Are in just themselves

Yet also vessels

For beautiful souls
