St. Croix River Beach – Photophile Musings

There’s nothing quite like exploring the coastline of Maine. There are so many little secret gardens and hidden beauties to find in the often untouched natural landscapes of America’s northeastern-most state.

These photos were taken of the private beach on the property of the former Brooks Bluff Cottages, during my last family trip there in 2007. It’s along the St. Croix River in Robbinston, Maine, about a dozen miles from Calais. I’m fairly sure that it doesn’t look this nice any more, so enjoy these cherished memories of mine from my childhood and young adulthood.
