These black and white photographs were taken by me, Amelia Desertsong, at the Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine, around the time of my birthday in May 2021. This was the first true test of the Fuji Film camera we purchased, and black and white film was used for artistic purposes. While both Thomas and I got some solid shots of the park, our trip to Bar Harbor was unfortunately underwhelming.
There were only two restaurants open in the whole town, meaning lines were unbearably long; there was also very little to see and do in the nearby city of Ellsworth anyway, and really nothing else to do in the general area. After discovering there was black mold in our hotel room, we went home the same night these photos were taken so that Thomas and I could recover. At least, we got some strong photos, including these ones!
