Legacy (Poetry)

technology lens historical event

Enough money wasted on these scams
Too much pressure put on my diaphragm
What is there going to be left of me?
What will become of my legacy?

I can’t help but stand by honesty
Had enough of this life’s travesties
Only concerned for future humanity
What will become of our legacy?

Try to rise above the general insanity
Is there a spark for real creativity?
I don’t think there’s any lack of ability
Just a lot left to prove for our posterity

Enough time wasted on cheap fantasies
These drama queens & their kindred nasties
We should be aware and looking out
To protect our posterity, our legacies
