Eden (Poetry)

sea dawn landscape sunset

Eden’s not the same
Since you tasted the forbidden fruit
Of the wicked truths evil and good
I cannot seem to live on
In this dying garden of eternity
Forever lost for human souls
To never find in all their days

Searching for the ever lasting
Scent of your bleeding heart
The sweet taste of forbidden kisses
On the red hot lips of yours
Scorched my soul and lit aflame
The desires that tear my heart apart
I can never forget your scream

As the very bosom of hell
Swallowed you up in demon’s lust
All in a senseless act of defiance
Seeded by mindless innocence
All the beauty of your lovely garden
Wasted away by foolish actions
And forever lost to the ovens of Perdition
