Passing through Chester, Vermont on a little excursion through Vermont, master photographer Thomas Slatin and I stopped at the historic Chester Depot. Unfortunately, it turns out this sleepy little town isn’t all that fond of people taking photographs there. But, since we were in the road and this was a historic landmark, we were able to snap a few pictures before people started getting cranky. I also got a quick shot of the “downtown” area of the Chester Depot, which is sadly run down. Apparently, they do actually have train rides from Chester to Rutland and back during the summer, if you’re interested in that.
